rigging qualification of offloading steel need osha regulations and ny regs?

the material that is being offloaded is a tower (it's steel) for the crane, its being offloaded from a delivery truck at ground level it's 4 x 8 and weights 15,000, a crane is being used. how many men should be used and is there a regulation with osha on the way it should be done, and what protective eqipment should be supplied for the men. i need specific details.

  1. You should find someone who has the qualifications and hire them for the day. That will be a small expense compared to the cost of a replacement tower or the lawsuits and medical expense if someone gets hurt. Are you using a certified crane operator?
