if OSHA issues serious citations on a project, how the situation must be handled?

1. I'm assuming that any violations would have to be cleared up immediately for the project to move forward.
2. They will come back and reinspect if the citations have been addressed in the time frame they have given you on the citation. If they have not been taken care of, your project will be shut down for safety violations by Federally inacted legislation. Serious infractions are usually 24 hours to start to address, some are 72 hours and others are 30 days. Again depends on the citation and local laws.
