What are the Occupational health & and safety regulations about keyboards?
Sounds like a stupid question to ask, but I need to know. I have looked all over the net but can't find anything. I live in western Australia if that makes any difference. PLEASE type your sources. I need ACTUAL REGULATIONS please.

- Like computer keyboards? There is some research that claims that typing can cause repetitive strain injury, so that might be something to look into. Also there's the hygiene issue, on who uses the keyboard and how often it is cleaned, like with a Q-tip or whatever.Er...You could consider the whole wireless keyboards issue, which are possibly safer options than having cables everywhere?
- using keyboards can cause RSI (repetive strain Injury) they have to be at correct height and positions and you should have a break from typing every half an hour Pressing the keys on the key board can send Shockwaves back through your nerves. http://www.docep.wa.gov.au/WorkSafe/ http://www.business.gov.au/Business+Entry+Point/Business+Topics/Occupational+health+and+safety/OH+and+S+Acts+Regulations+and+Codes+of+Practice.htm
