- occupational health check would refer to you and your health, your education, Knowlege, prehand knowledge of this is good, if your heatlh is good enough for this carreer. If you have contagious diseases that could be passed on to the mother, commnications skills, how calm tempered you are, if you are elquent enough to get your point across in less than 2,000 words ( ok not that many but you get the idea) knowlege of what your profession - not just where babies come from, comunnication in writing as you will be taking a lot of notes, reading comprehension, if you understand are remember what you read, being able to understand others needs, wants ect. The mothers and the DRs. They will most likey ask for your medical records from your Dr to verify your medical info. There is a lot to it - BEFORE you even get to study your profession. But it is an awesome profession. Someone needs to help these babies.
