- Yes. Not taking Requirements seriously open companies up for very large lawsuits.
- Yes - Employers take OSHA Law very serious. Severe consequences if they do not. While there are no specific regulations under OSHA for Workplace violence it is covered under the "General Duties Clause" which states in part: "Employers shall furnish to each employee a place of employment free from recognized hazards that are causing or likely to cause death or serious harm to employees".
