Occupational Safety and Health Administration Logs

do you have to be an employee to report unsafe working conditions to OSHA?

I am a former employee. I know the working conditions are still unsafe and the employer is not compliant with OSHA.

Public Comments

  1. no anyone can and should report unsafe working conditions!!!
  2. TO REPORT ACCIDENTS, UNSAFE WORKING CONDITIONS, OR SAFETY & HEALTH VIOLATIONS: Contact the OSHA Office nearest you, see map of offices, or, contact our toll free number: 1-800-321-OSHA (6742)... TTY 1-877-889-5627.
  3. Since you are no longer employed there now would be a good time to report what you know to be unsafe. You don't have to worry about ramifications
  4. unless you a current employee OSHA will not respond to any complaints filed. They have been sent on many wild goose chases from disgruntled ex employees
