Especially when even moderates (moderates aren't liberals but in between liberal and conservative in case a lot of people didn't know what moderates are) can see what extremist conservatives such as corporate CEOs and their top executives, etc; have been trying to do and have turned their support away on a lot of issues from the extremist parties known as the republicans and the libertarians. In case anyone disputes about myself or others I know who are and just don't call ourselves moderates - I'm against abortion, I'm against the forcing of macro-evolution to be taught in public schools, I also believe in strong defense and strong immigration laws. On the flipside of that, I know it's stupid to have wars at the drop of a hat - for example the Afghanistan war I think is a war that's necessary to be won but even more especially that osama bin laden and his top sidekicks need to be captured and brought to justice, but the Iraq war that’s something that could’ve waited till later or perhaps even been avoided if somehow mysteriously sodom and gomorrah hussein got assassinated *wink*. On the subject of immigration, while I think there should be strong immigration laws - I think it's incredibly stupid to stop all legal immigration though and of which there actually is some people, who actually are that extreme that they think that. Aside from that, many of things President Obama's done thus far in regards to financial and medical reforms' made good and practical financial sense, because reforms were needed for a long time or else the U.S. would've been getting obliterated extremely bad financially in the future and even worse perhaps even the whole government and country of the U.S. would've fallen apart, because of arrogance of the privileged and the financially very well off people. Case in point about the arrogance and slavemaster mentality of the wealthy: Until Jimmy Hoffa and the unions came around and also before minimum wage laws, OSHA (The United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration), besides other labor organizations protecting workers were started - working conditions at companies were so deplorable, besides the fact that so many workers were so abused - that such conditions and abuses were so bad that many workers actually had considered the horribly bad political ideas of anarchy or/and communism or other stupid extremes that was being given out as propaganda quite heavily to the workers who were in desperate states of mind about making a decent living around a century ago. My point is, that more or less even though Jimmy Hoffa became corrupt later because of dealings he made with mobsters - It was because of Jimmy Hoffa and the other people who started unions around America is people that saved the U.S. from having it's workers turn to communist, anarchist or fascist nuts. To those who doubt this - look at the history how middle class and poor workers were treated in the United States, including from the days of the Industrial Revolution to the days of approximately around the first quarter or third of the twentieth century - Look at THE LACK OR EVEN COMPLETE ABSENCE of - Work safety laws, overtime pay, safe workplaces/work environments, minimum wage laws, child labor laws, lawful reasons to fire or lay off people such as the fact that if employers demanded that their employees did things at work that is having them break laws - it's against the laws, etc. Plus to dispel more doubts about what I've mentioned - look at all the deaths of workers THAT WERE CAUSED BECAUSE OF BAD WORK CONDITIONS, besides of course work related injuries that happened before Jimmy Hoffa and others created unions and before there was OSHA and other labor and work safety organizations were around to stick up for the rights of workers. My point is with the details I made above is there's practical reasons why I and other people are moderates - I don't believe in being totally democrat or even worse - liberal extremism, just as I don't believe in being totally conservative as in republicans or the worse conservative extremes such as the libertarians. I and others are moderates for a reason - it's because we realize it's impractical and redundant to be extreme for one political side or the other because sanity and order and makes more sense. So with myself and many others who are moderates knowing that not only with conservatives wanting to have aristocracy instead of democracy, is not only NOT fair to most others including most Americans, but that it's impractical in the long run anyway, when it's applied especially to the extreme of having an aristocratic government allowing nothing but aristocratic economic idealogies - Why do extremist conservatives who want to destroy democracy to have aristocracy think moderates or other other people with a thinking mind won't notice the extremist conservatives' plans of aristocratic dominance/ Financial impulsiveness/arrogance/impatience? I also asked this, because of the fact that many people at online forums besides when the tea party rallies full of people who blindly never question the conservative propaganda being fed to them - had their people over this last year+, yelling and screaming at hard working people who are poor, middle class or/and sick with need of medical insurance, credit reform, etc; besides of course accusing the hard working people of being “commies”, “lazy”, besides other derogatory references, untrue generalities and stereotypes that people spew about people online, at tea party rallies or whatever other places.
