Is there any OSHA regulations that apply to bending over?

Im wondering if there are any rules or regulations that apply to bending over so that workers do not wear their backs out.

1. I have worked under OSHA regs for years now, and I don't believe that there are any regulations as to bending over. OSHA as a whole does cover workplace safety, but it has more to do with the companies guidelines, and safe working conditions. OSHA caring about how individuals bend to pick up a heavy object is not in the job description.
2. OSHA refers and references the NIOSH standards for lifting. If those are not being followed and actually abused, that situation would be covered by OSHA.
