How to generate a letter to OSHA regarding false alleged conitions.?

I just received a letter from OSHA regarding "FALSE" alleged conditions at my medical office. I know it was an employee who was fired and now, I am paying the consequences. I need help generating a letter to respond back within 14 days. The codes & alleged conditions are: wires everywhere, and boxes blocking aisle ways. Can someone please help as I want to be extra careful with this letter. Thank you

  1. Normally they will have to come do an inspection. I don't think they can bust you on allegations. But, you never know, they are OSHA. I've seen them pull some pretty dumb stunts. Good luck.
  2. Well today is your lucky day. You need to write a letter of contest. The reason you got cited is for poor house keeping. 1st of all, it was not an X-employee, OSHA does not follow up on complaints unless the person can prove they still work at the company. make sure that an employee was just let go, and you feel they are trying to retaliate This is to crack down on retaliation from being fired. All they are asking, is for you to get in contact with them to explain your side of things. If you received a fine, what you need to do, is contact the regional director, and schedule a meeting with him/her. Since you are a small business, you will most likely have your penalty reduced. State that you will take the proper steps in correcting the problem, and that you will spend the money you save from the fine to bring in a safety consulting firm to help fix these problems. Our concern is to make the work place safe, not money. If you show that you are willing to put the time and effort into safety, we will cut you a break. P.S safety always starts with good house keeping.
