If the patient does not show for the appointments, they are assumed recovered and automatically discharged. 3.) In Occupational Health, there are specific parties that are exempt from HIPPA. The consultant makes sures that only the proper parties get your medical confidential information. 4.) Since occupational health services are charged differently, they get authorization from the carrier. Any thing rendered to you cannot be billed to you if the insurance carrier or company does not pay.
