Occupational Safety and Health Administration Logs

What do you guys think of my day?

This morning I was awoken by my alarm clock powered by electricity generated by the public power monopoly regulated by the US department of energy. I then took a shower in the clean water provided by the municipal water utility. After that, I turned on the TV to one of the FCC regulated channels to see what the national weather service of the national oceanographic and atmospheric administration determined the weather was going to be like using satellites designed, built, and launched by the national aeronautics and space administration. I watched this while eating my breakfast of US department of agriculture inspected food and taking the drugs which have been determined as safe by the food and drug administration. At the appropriate time as regulated by the US congress and kept accurate by the national institute of standards and technology and the US naval observatory, I get into my national highway traffic safety administration approved automobile and set out to work on the roads build by the local, state, and federal departments of transportation, possibly stopping to purchase additional fuel of a quality level determined by the environmental protection agency, using legal tender issued by the federal reserve bank. On the way out the door I deposit any mail I have to be sent out via the US postal service and drop the kids off at the public school. After spending another day not being maimed or killed at work thanks to the workplace regulations imposed by the department of labor and the occupational safety and health administration, enjoying another two meals which again do not kill me because of the USDA, I drive my NHTSA car back home on the DOT roads, to ny house which has not burned down in my absence because of the state and local building codes and fire marshal's inspection, and which has not been plundered of all it's valuables thanks to the local police department. I then log on to the internet which was developed by the defense advanced research projects administration and post on freerepublic.com and fox news forums about how SOCIALISM in medicine is BAD because the government can't do anything right.

Public Comments

  1. HAHAHAHAHAHA Brilliant
  2. Are you saying that corporations don`t have the same morals as humans and will always do what the rules or "Government regulations" let them do.
  3. Your question will be far too long for the typical right winger to read.
  4. So if I have this right. You awoke to your alarm clock made in China by foreign workers outsourced under NAFTA and sold by Wal-mart who's American employees are held under federal restrictions to earn only minimum allowable wages, held to hourly restrictions and taxed heavily through state and federal governments as well as FICA, Medicare, and Social Security. Then you take a shower utilizing the chlorinated water provided by the municipality for which you live due to the fact the government bureacracy has allowed to become contaminated beyond repair. It is at this point you have breakfast a breakfast of high fructose corn syrup which was developed in Japan, and used as an alternative here in the U.S. under Jimmy Carter's attempt to subsidize farmers who were growing corn. Incidently HFCS is banned in Europe due to it's harmful side effects. You then grab the keys to your DOT approved automobile which utilizes the same combustion type engine as it's 1900 era forefather due to the money oil lobbyists have provided politicians in the past decade. As you leave you deposit your mail in your U.S. Postal Service approved mailbox which was made in China and is attended to by an employee who is federally protected, union backed, and highly over compensated compared to the U.S. military because dogs are more dangerous then insurgents. As you drive on your DOT approved, federally funded, state maintained, pot hole riddled road which requires no less then twelve municipal employees and one shovel to repair you stop for gas. As your fueling up with Suadi oil shipped over 3,000 miles and placed in hold at U.S. ports to ensure demand is high enough prior to raising prices monitored by state and federal government. Then you arrive at work where you have tenure but will not see promotion because you were out scored by a minority who got a 73% on the job knowledge quiz and you only managed a 97%. You eat one more high fructose corn syrup laced meal and return home. Where your house has lost 2/3rds of it's fair market value due to a dip in the DOW. Unfortunately you were also robbed as a result of poor policing do to budgetary cut backs and lack of personnel which was required to pay the twelve person road repair crews in your city. You sit down to one more meal of corn sugary goodness when your phone rings. It is your HMO approved doctor stating you need to be refferred to a specialist in the next town because you now have type 2 diabetes and he can't help you. Your not covered locally. Yeah that sounds about right.
