Osha regulations help pls?

Ok I live in CA and we have more than 30 ppl in our class and its is very small one (it's a community college). Can anyone tell me what is the OSHA or Fire dept. regulations on that. There was an accident recently because of that and I need to find out the area/people ratio for CA.

1. You actually need to lookup the fire code for the building. It's displayed somewhere.
2. You need to contact the fire marshall for your area. That is his responsibility.
3. Our classrooms display the fire marshal's limit for each classroom. Look around the room, maybe just outside the door on the wall.
