Is wearing shorts on construction site against any OSHA regulations?

1. Clothing must be appropriate for the type of job you are on and doing.

3. Don't know but you should with there is OSHA or not. Kind of common sense just like a lab I work at where they had to put down in writing no showing up in swim suits because 1 girl show up in one.
4. depends on what job ur doing.. i wouldn;t want to be working on roof tops in longjons.. shorts pls
5. A specific regulation that deals with shorts, no. Each job however goes through a hazard analysis and if the person doing it is qualified and they determine it is a hazard to wear shorts, then wearing them would be against company safety policy and therefore against OSHA guidelines.
