Should federal scientists have the freedom to publicly communicate their findings; publish their work; ...? Should federal scientists have the freedom to publicly communicate their findings; publish their work; disclose misrepresentation, censorship or other abuses; and have their technical work evaluated by peers -- all without fear of retribution? There have been numerous and detailed instances of political interference with science within several federal agencies, such as the Consumer Product Safety Commission, Food and Drug Administration, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Environmental Protection Agency, National Institute of Health, and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. Several federal scientists have recently claimed that the Bush administration has created a hostile work environment within scientific agencies. Among their claims, reports being edited to misrepresent scientific findings, agencies reluctance to regulate products, scientific findings ignored in policy rulings, and resistance to scientific appointments. Examples: The Union of Concerned Scientists has created the A to Z Guide to Political Interference in Science that include several well documented examples: http://www.ucsusa.org/scientific_integrity/interference/a-to-z-guide-to-political.html This question relates directly to global warming because there has been a huge systemic effort by the Bush administration to censor climate science and misrepresent scientific findings. For more information, listen to NPR “Science Friday” Science News Hour: http://www.sciencefriday.com/program/archives/200802151 . . . . . . . Mt. zion… I didn’t know that consumer protection, drug safety, and the environment were “silly issues”. It is OK to have different opinions and a different set of beliefs. It is not OK to have a different set of “facts” that are not supported by observations. Mt. zion… Also, federal scientists work for the public, and NOT for President Bush. Jim Z, I believe that there have been numerous examples of political interference with science BECAUSE there is extensive documentation of this, not because of political reasons. See the A to Z Guide to Political Interference in Science for specific examples: http://www.ucsusa.org/scientific_integrity/interference/a-to-z-guide-to-political.html Dr Jello, you are wrong. I work as a nurse; and not only do I have the ability to report such things as Medicare fraud, alleged patient harm and abuse, wrongdoings, and misconducts, I have the RESPONSIBILITY to do so. The deniers seem to have a “Father’s Knows Best” opinion. Anyone who goes against what father has said is to be punished and silenced. They want top scientists to seek permission from “minders” before participating in an interview. Never mind that the public has PAID for this research and is entitled to uncensored results. Having political minders sounds much more like Iran than the United States, and I believe that our Democracy is in trouble. Also, Crazy Conservative, your argument that climatologists are just seeking more grant money fails the “logic” test. What the scientists are saying is that the science is conclusive, not perfect, but good enough that that action is now needed to reduce our greenhouse-gas emissions. Based on the strength of this conclusion, many politicians have started saying "the science is settled." If the climatologists were simply seeking additional funding, then they would be saying the exact opposite, that they are unsure of the cause of recent global warming. If you want to maximize funding, you say that the science is unsettled, not claim a scientific consensus the anthropogenic global warming is unequivocal.
What are your thoughts an employer hired an illegal & took to immagrition instead was it right-wrong? Recently, the Mexican Consulate in Dallas launched a know-your-rights campaign at day labor sites after a teenage worker at one site was picked up by a man pretending to be an employer and was subsequently turned over to immigration authorities. The Mexican diplomats want to explain to workers that federal minimum wage and occupational safety and health laws apply to everyone – regardless of status. "The Mexican diplomats want to explain to workers that federal minimum wage and occupational safety and health laws apply to everyone – regardless of status." But this doesn't apply: US CODE, TITLE 8—ALIENS AND NATIONALITY?
need help with law and environment? can you guy help me with this. thank you Assume that the state of Ohio passed a hazardous waste statute, seeking to protect the general public and workers. The state statute did not violate the Commerce Clause because it imposed no restriction on interstate commerce. Both the state statute and the federal Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) established job safety standards and specified worker training and employer licensing, but the requirements differed. Discuss which statute(s) Ohio corporations had to obey, and identify the source of your answer.

Gross....before you go get that next Starbucks latte, read this (or don't) your choice.? http://www.nydailynews.com/front/story/444195p-373976c.html Starbucks faces buggy rap BY PAUL H.B. SHIN DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER Thursday, August 17th, 2006 Should it be Starbucks or Star...bugs? Current and former employees of the gourmet coffee chain filed a federal complaint yesterday claiming their corporate bosses have refused to heed repeated warnings about inadequate training and chronic infestations of roaches, rats and other vermin in New York stores. But the company strongly denied the allegations, noting the complaints were coordinated by a handful of activists who are trying to unionize the chain's normally merry band of baristas. Out of the 201 Starbucks stores in the city, the Department of Health issued notices of violation to 44 for rodent or insect activity in the most recent round of inspections, city records show. The complaints filed by Starbucks employees with the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration focus on three stores - at Union Square Eas

Big Government and Health Care? This morning I was awoken by my alarm clock powered by electricity generated by the public power monopoly regulated by the US Department of Energy. I then took a shower in the clean water provided by the municipal water utility. After that, I turned on the TV to one of the FCC regulated channels to see what the national weather service of the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration determined the weather was going to be like using satellites designed, built, and launched by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. I watched this while eating my breakfast of US Department of Agriculture inspected food and taking the drugs which have been determined as safe by the Food and Drug Administration. At the appropriate time as regulated by the US congress and kept accurate by the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the US Naval Observatory, I get into my National Highway Traffic Safety Administration approved automobile and set out to work on the roads build by the local, state, and federal departments of transportation, possibly stopping to purchase additional fuel of a quality level determined by the Environmental Protection Agency, using legal tender issed by the Federal Reserve Bank. On the way out the door I deposit any mail I have to be sent out via the US Postal Service and drop the kids off at the public school. After spending another day not being maimed or killed at work thanks to the workplace regulations imposed by the Department of Labor and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, enjoying another two meals which again do not kill me because of the USDA, I drive my NHTSA car back home on the DOT roads, to my house which has not burned down in my absence because of the state and local building codes and fire marshal's inspection, and which has not been plundered of all it's valuables thanks to the local police department. I then log on to the internet which was developed by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Administration and post on freerepublic.com and fox news forums about how SOCIALISM in medicine is BAD because the government can't do anything right.
I need help with a press release strategy to target multiple key markets for our updated website.? Protecting our Environment & Occupational Health: We offer a comprehensive line of bio-based hand sanitizers and soaps that have undergone scientific testing of ingredients to verify the sustainable content. We now sell exclusively in the Federal sector and will soon release our updated website targeted to the broader corporate and non-profit environmental marketplace. The major competitive challenge is the fact that a national brand hand sanitizer is America's #1 product (based on purchases) and synonymous with waterless hand sanitizing. Help!
Since Bush could instantly overfund the military, aren't his funding cuts worse than downsizing the military? Clinton's downsizing had nothing on the Bush administration's cuts in funds from almost everything you could think of: Funding has been cut for hospitals, Veterans' Affairs (VA) programs, pharmaceutical companies, Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA), National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH), education K-12, education-education after high school, Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA), libraries, alternative energy projects, worker safety and health grants, cancer and AIDS research, public health advocacy groups, fire prevention programs, flood prevention programs, airports, etc... The list goes on. He has used this to fund his "War on Terrorism". Therefore, the extra funds have been wasted because he has only increased the terrorists' recruitment drive and viciousness. C B, this is why he has cut funds. He doesn't cut taxes, but he does cut funds so that the debt won't grow too huge and have congressment yelling at him for it. Nice try C B, but you failed to contradict me. 2nd Answerer, I think if YOU check, we have only had this democrat majority for a measly 1.5 months. I am covering the entire 6.15 years our administration has been in power. Mahal, you gave me an unsubstantiated reason against 1 thing that I said, out of the dozens of things I said. You are really full of it. You cannot contradict me. Do your homework and find out. Maybe not Bush, but congress did overfund it instantly because most people were staunchly for the war. You know this.

Now if you know anything about Nader he is not a raciest and when he said that he stuck to his guns he did not have to apologize because he did not use in in a racial context the man is Lebanese and a first generation American and has helped out all minorities. whats really odd is that the media didn't want to put the spotlight on him so they never made a big deal. the media and the two parties don't want people know anything about Nader so they talk crap about him and try to keep him and his campaigns out of the spotlight.

Do middle class republicans even know the reason unions are needed, or what they have done for the workers? That is for the people who must work for a living, that includes middle class republicans, and non union workers as well. This is what the unions have done for all working people Unions are an essential part of a strong democracy and play a crucial role in America’s public and community life. Not only do they give workers a voice on the job and help negotiate fair benefits and wages for their members, but they also use their political and economic resources to raise the floor for everyone who works for a living. Unions, by fighting for higher standards for workers, businesses, families, the environment, and public health and safety, have helped to build the middle class and make sure the economy works for everyone. Everyone Business Families Environment Health Equality Unions Making a Difference for Everyone Unions benefit all of America’s workers and strengthen our communities. Unions today: Reinforce the middle class and lift up America’s communities. States with higher rates of unionization have lower rates of poverty, crime, and failing schools.1 Benefit local economic development. In partnerships with employers, community organizations, and local governments, unions have helped revitalize local economies by saving and expanding family-supporting jobs. Raise wages for all workers. Studies show that a large union presence in an industry or region can raise wages even for non-union workers.2 Fight for all workers’ health and safety. In 2008 the AFL-CIO and the United Food and Commercial Workers sued to get employers to provide personal protective equipment. Now, workers in hazardous jobs which require safety gear—like hard hats or protective glasses—must be provided this equipment, instead of being asked to buy it themselves. Advocate for increases in the minimum wage and push for living wage ordinances. Unions have been instrumental in efforts to increase the federal minimum wage, state minimum wages and in the successful living wage movement which has already resulted in over 150 local living wage laws nationwide. Reduce wage inequality. Unions raise wages the most for low- and middle-wage workers and workers without college degrees.3 Invest worker pension funds to rebuild communities In June 2006, the AFL-CIO launched the Gulf Coast Revitalization Program, a $1 billion housing and economic development program to create low- and moderate-income housing, a low-cost mortgage program, health facilities, job training services, and thousands of high-wage union jobs throughout the region. The Gulf Coast program builds on the success of similar AFL-CIO investment strategies to develop affordable housing in Chicago and to help New York City recover from the devastating terrorist attacks of September 11th. Union pension funds invested $750 million in post-9/11 New York.4 Are crucial in passing legislation benefiting all workers, including: Fair Minimum Wage Act of 2007, providing an increase in the federal minimum wage. The Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, a comprehensive federal law ensuring safety in the workplace. Workers' compensation laws, giving workers injured on the job medical coverage and compensation for lost time. Mine safety laws strengthening mine safety standards and protecting the rights of mine workers. The Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, creating the 40-hour work week and the first minimum wage. The Social Security Act of 1935, providing benefits to unemployed and retired workers. Union members: Earn higher wages. Union members earn 30% more than non-union workers. Have more training. Union workers are more likely to have access to formal, on-the-job training, making employees more skilled and adding to productivity.5 Have safer workplaces. Union workers are often better trained on health and safety rules and union workplaces are more likely to enforce Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.6 Are more likely to receive workers’ compensation. Union members also get their benefits faster, and return to work more quickly.7 When workers are injured, unions help workers through the often complicated process of filing for workers’ compensation and protect workers from employer retaliation. Have health insurance. Nearly 80% of unionized workers receive employer-provided health insurance, compared with 49% of non-union workers. Union members are also more likely to have short-term disability and life insurance coverage. Lady snowblossom, yes you do have it good because of the work of the unions. Didn't you read the link before you answered? Or are you one that think they know all the answers before they read anything? John Doe, They are needed now also, don't be kidding yourself, because when the unions are dead, so is the middle class. Yes common sense, if you want to live under a corporate dictatership. CB, can you link to me where you are getting your misinformation from? And yes Germany is 80% unionized, and they have the strongest economy. They have learned to work together for the common good of the country.

Why would anyone with a brain support Ron Paul? Ron Paul supports abolishing the minimum wage. Ron Paul supports abolishing the Occupational and Safety Health Act Ron Paul supports abolishing estate tax Ron Paul would repeal the elderly tax credit, child care credit, earned income credit, and other common credits for working class citizens. Ron paul would do irreperable damage to the environment, he supports abolishing Soil and Water Conservation Act of 1977 Ron Paul would ignore all international Laws Ron Paul would continue to create a negative image of America in the global community and withdraw from the UN Ron Paul is a die hard evangelical christian Ron Paul would repel the Gun Free Schools Act Ron Paul would remove restrictions on personal ownership of semi-automatic weaponry Ron Paul would remove all federal standardized tests from the classroom Ron Paul does not believe in the seperation of church and state and has stated he would support "alternative views" to evolution being taught in schools
Are there private peadiatricians and also private occupational and physio therapiats? My son has had health problems ever since he was born. He is 5 now and has seen many peadiatricians at different hospitals but all have been usless and could not tell us what is wrong. The peadiatricain he currently seen has only seen him once in over 2 years despite repeatedly tequesting to see her. The last tine we saw her about 1 1/2 years ago. she said she thought he might have dispraxia and autism. But that he was to young to give a proper diagnosis. When contacting her recently as we are really concerned about our son. She said she was really busy but that she would put him on the waiting list to see her but that it would probably be at least a year before she could see him. She refered him to phisio and ocupational therapists but I have recieved a letter today saying he is on the waiting list but its going to be at least 8 months before they can see him. Its rediculous. I don't know what to do. I am so fed up with this are there private peadiatricians that I could take him to. And if so how much would it cost. Also are there private physio therapists and occupational therapists that I could take my son to and if so how much would this cost. My son has problems with his gross and fine motor skills. His balance isnt good, he falls over alot, he even struggles to kick a football. He still can't hold a pencil properly so can write or form any letters and struggles to even draw. He uses special angle cuttlery but still struggles with eating. He has various other problems. I just want to help him. I am from cumbria north west england so if you can recommend any private peadiatrician or physio therapist or occupational therapist near me that would be great Any advice would be much appreciate thanks in advance
Which private health Insurance company is best? I am looking to get private Health insurance for me, my husband and 3 children. As I am fed up with NHS. My son who is 5 has had to wait 1 1/2 years to get a appointment with a paediatrician. We have been told that he has got to wait a least 8 months to see a physio therapist and occupational therapist. I don't want to have to go through this again if any of my other children get sick or have problems I have had a look around and have got a few quotes but don't know which is best and which to go for. The main two I have looked at are axa ppp and Pruhealth. Are either of these companies any good. Also do either of these companies or are there any other health insurance companies that will cover existing conditions. The exsisting conditions are my youngest son has dyspraxia, eating and speech problems. He is also no growing properly. My daughter is 2 and won't eat she has had tests but they don't know what's wrong, she also has low imulaglobin level. It would be nice if I could find one that covered exsisting conditions. But If not I have seen that bmi do pay as you go and you can just ring up and get a private appointment and pay as you go. Which is what I will do if not. Any advice would be much appreciated thanks in advance I just wanted to add. My youngest son has seen the paediatrician twice once last week and once 2 1/5 years ago. The paediatrician thinks he has dispraxia but he hasn't had a formal diagnosis. He had some speech therapy about 2 years ago and some physio therapy about 4 years ago. As he hasn't actually been diagnosed would this be classed as as a pre existing condition. Again my daughter has had some tests, but has no diagnosis and has received no treatment so would this be classed as a pre exsisting conditions. thanks
why do people commit white collar crimes? Here are some definations of white collar crimes below. 1.By the type of offense, e.g. property crime, economic crime, and other corporate crimes like environmental and health and safety law violations. Some crime is only possible because of the identity of the offender, e.g. transnational money laundering requires the participation of senior officers employed in banks. But the Federal Bureau of Investigation has adopted the narrow approach, defining white-collar crime as "those illegal acts which are characterized by deceit, concealment, or violation of trust and which are not dependent upon the application or threat of physical force or violence" (1989, 3). Because this approach is relatively pervasive in the United States, the record-keeping does not adequately collect data on the socioeconomic status of offenders which, in turn, makes research and policy evaluation problematic. While the true extent and cost of white-collar crime are unknown, it is estimated to cost the United States more than $300 billion annually, according to the FBI. 2.By the type of offender, e.g. by social class or high socioeconomic status, the occupation of positions of trust or profession, or academic qualification, researching the motivations for criminal behavior, e.g. greed or fear of loss of face if economic difficulties become obvious. Shover and Wright (2000) point to the essential neutrality of a crime as enacted in a statute. It almost inevitably describes conduct in the abstract, not by reference to the character of the persons performing it. Thus, the only way that one crime differs from another is in the backgrounds and characteristics of its perpetrators. Most if not all white-collar offenders are distinguished by lives of privilege, much of it with origins in class inequality. 3.By organizational culture rather than the offender or offense which overlaps with organized crime. Appelbaum and Chambliss (1997, 117) offer a twofold definition: 4.Occupational crime which occurs when crimes are committed to promote personal interests, say, by altering records and overcharging, or by the cheating of clients by professionals. 5.Organizational or corporate crime which occurs when corporate executives commit criminal acts to benefit their company by overcharging or price fixing, false advertising, etc.

Indirectly discriminating even after well documented medical history held by employer, and denying knowledge? I'm not sure if you can help me at all. But my partner is being treated horribly after he was forced to raise a formal grievance regarding indirect discrimination from a sickness policy that they had brought in. He asked informally 5 or 6 times over the course of 10 months as to whether he would be able to have an allowance as he has had a chronic back condition for over 5 years now (of which is fully documented in his medical reports at work). But they refused to even answer him. Also, though the policy states that you will have company sick pay removed after 3 non related illnesses, they took his after 2 episodes for his back (3 days off). Should really have counted as 1, as they were related, and they also took his sick benefit before the 3rd anyway. After having the grievance, they deny any knowledge of his condition and are asking for even more medical reports of which when requested, it was more of a threat. Do it, or we'll terminate your employment, and even submitted a medical request to his GP with a falsified job description of which 40% of the work mentioned, he wouldn't be able to do. We have informed our GP and provided the job description on his contract to show the type of work he actually does. They keep saying snide remarks as they walk passed him, and after they terminated his employment on grounds of incapacity in his first employment as he had to have 6 months off after spinal surgery, we are in the minds that they are trying to get both the doctor and occupational health expert to say he isn't fit to do the job that they have falsely described. In the response to the grievance, they have said that they need to know from the doctor if he has a disability, and that managers are aware to make allowances for disability or chronic conditions. They do know, they have all the history, and even in a report from their occupation health, it states '***** is covered by disability legislation' But they still say that they have no reason to believe that he has a longstanding condition. They have delayed the appeal meeting which should have happened the 1st August until sometime after 10th August, but they won't confirm the date until the Occupational health has visited on the 10th. In the meantime, there will be more sleepless nights, more comments, and more stress. (and that's just me) But seriously, it is getting too much now, as they are becoming intimidating when all he wanted to know, was could he have some allowance for his back as he would be at a disadvantage to those who would only suffer common illnesses. Obviously this is a shortened version of events. But I would really like some advice because all he wants to do is just run away from them as far as he can as he is so fed up, angry and upset, and I couldn't blame him, but of course we all need jobs these days. Can you please give me some advice as I don't know how to help him anymore. thank you JZD for your answer, it was very helpful. At the moment they haven't dismissed him yet, but he really wants to leave now, but how would his position stand if he handed in his notice?
I wanted to quit, my manager said give it 3 months? I said I will give it two more months, as that will take it to six months of me being there (currently been there 4). She said she will refer me to occupational health first, for some councelling maybe... but I'm not sure anymore...i was expecting to have a professional discussion but I ended up crying in the managers office. how embarrasing is that? She asked me if I was being bullied..truth is i am except not infront of my face. i just would rather not say anything and get out of this place where no one wants to work with me. i am fed up! :( i was excepting to use my annual leave and call it quits today :( i was hoping to stay longer but then i made a decision it wasn't worth it.... any advice? or please say something to help me keep going for the extra two months.. i am feeling crap. I have not got another job lined up but I would go straight back to temping for a while...i'm just not sure what else to do.
What do you guys think of my day? This morning I was awoken by my alarm clock powered by electricity generated by the public power monopoly regulated by the US department of energy. I then took a shower in the clean water provided by the municipal water utility. After that, I turned on the TV to one of the FCC regulated channels to see what the national weather service of the national oceanographic and atmospheric administration determined the weather was going to be like using satellites designed, built, and launched by the national aeronautics and space administration. I watched this while eating my breakfast of US department of agriculture inspected food and taking the drugs which have been determined as safe by the food and drug administration. At the appropriate time as regulated by the US congress and kept accurate by the national institute of standards and technology and the US naval observatory, I get into my national highway traffic safety administration approved automobile and set out to work on the roads build by the local, state, and federal departments of transportation, possibly stopping to purchase additional fuel of a quality level determined by the environmental protection agency, using legal tender issued by the federal reserve bank. On the way out the door I deposit any mail I have to be sent out via the US postal service and drop the kids off at the public school. After spending another day not being maimed or killed at work thanks to the workplace regulations imposed by the department of labor and the occupational safety and health administration, enjoying another two meals which again do not kill me because of the USDA, I drive my NHTSA car back home on the DOT roads, to ny house which has not burned down in my absence because of the state and local building codes and fire marshal's inspection, and which has not been plundered of all it's valuables thanks to the local police department. I then log on to the internet which was developed by the defense advanced research projects administration and post on freerepublic.com and fox news forums about how SOCIALISM in medicine is BAD because the government can't do anything right.

Why do we need unions since we have a U.S. Dept. of Labor? Both on the national and on many state levels. The Dept. of Labor has eight major specialized divisions: the Bureau of International Labor Affairs, the Employment and Training Administration, the Pension and Welfare Benefits Administration, the Employment Standards Administration, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the Mine Safety and Health Administration, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the Veterans' Employment and Training Service. A ninth division, the Office of the American Workplace, established in 1993, was terminated when congress failed to provide the necessary appropriations. The Bureau of International Labor Affairs deals with the interaction among U.S. foreign policy, foreign labor developments, and U.S. labor developments. The Bureau of Labor Statistics, a direct descendant of the 1884 Bureau of Labor, gathers data in the field of labor economics. The agencies of the Employment Standards Administration administer federal labor legislation and the administration conducts research to support their programs; the agencies (and the legislation they administer) include the Wage and Hour Division (minimum wage and fringe benefits) and the Office of Worker's Compensation Programs (compensation for job-related injuries). The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is responsible for ensuring the best possible U.S. working conditions in terms of safety and health. The Women's Bureau promotes the employment, efficiency, and welfare of wage-earning women. http://www.answers.com/topic/united-states-department-of-labor http://www.dol.gov/
Income tax law question? I asked this before, but was not satisified: What is the law that makes the average wage earner living in one of the fifty States liable to pay a federal income tax? Somebody quoted a section from the revenue code, but it actually had no bearing on my question. I think I've seen some sections there which do make that claim. I know what a law is. Is an Act of Congress passed on a certain date, signed into law by the President, and given a certain name such as: "The Patriot Act"; "The Davis-Bacon Act", "Williams-Steiger Occupational Safety and Health Act", etc. So what date and what name and where is the text of the law discussed and passed by Congress, signed by the President, making a wage-earning American liable to pay a federal income tax? As a refererence, a jury of our peers did not find it at http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6716929127738729234 Only specific answers, please.

I'm not endorsing true socialism. I'm just saying, if you believe that socialism is going to kill us all, you're pretty stupid. ADDED DETAIL: What faux news is describing as socialism is basically government regulation. Stop listening to propaganda. Which in turn would cure you of religion as well
Why is the bill so.. hated? "This morning, I woke up to my radio alarm clock powered by electricity generated by the public power monopoly run by a state agency and supported by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. I then took a shower in the clean water provided by the municipal water utility with its quality monitored by the Environmental Protection Agency. After that, I turned on the TV to one of the Federal Communication Commission regulated channels to see what the National Weather Service of the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) determined the weather was going to be like using satellites designed, built, and launched by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). I watched this while eating my breakfast of US Department of Agriculture inspected food and taking the drugs which have been determined as safe by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Now, if you read all that, you would notice that the government already regulates much of our everyday life. What is so bad about them regulating healthcare? Depending on where you get your information, it will increase or decrease our debt (our debt has been increasing since Reagan, and now it's getting attention, since people are losing jobs and the economy took a hit). I don't understand how you can blame Obama, for amassing a debt such as this. It's quite obvious he hasn't done much to help the situation as of yet, but it's not like he will be leaving office in one month. The Healthcare Bill will take time to reach it's full potential (which is SO FAR from what it could have been), and only time will tell if it will have paid off. I'm sorry for the wall of text, and I'm certain people will disagree, but I'm sure that people are okay with sharing opinions. So really, why is the bill hated? Why can't people take the time to see if it works?

Why are we so afraid of allowing the Government to have a public option? THe Argument goes the Government can't run anything. Well, This morning I was awoken by my alarm clock powered by electricity generated by the public power monopoly regulated by the US Department of Energy. I then took a shower in the clean water provided by the Municipal Water Utility. After that, I turned on the TV to one of the FCC-regulated channels to see what the National Weather Service of the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration determined the weather was going to be like using satellites designed, built, and launched by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. I drove my NHTSA car back home on the DOT roads, to my house which had not burned down during my absence because of the state and local building codes and Fire Marshal's inspection, and which had not been plundered of all its valuables thanks to the local Police Department. I then logged on to the Internet which was developed by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Administration and found someone had posted on Yahoo! Answers how SOCIALISM in medicine is BAD because the government can't do anything right. THOUGHTS?? Seems some didn't even bother to read the post...too bad...it's full of facts. *sigh*

Then, after spending another day not being maimed or killed at work thanks to the workplace regulations imposed by the department of labor and the occupational safety and health administration, I drive back to my house which has not burned down in my absence because of the state and local building codes and the fire marshall's inspection, and which has not been plundered of all its valuables thanks to the local police department. I then log onto the internet which was developed by the defense advanced research projects administration and post on Y!A about how SOCIALISM in medicine is BAD because the government can't do anything right.

im doing a speech on why the FDA should regulate personal care prouducts and i need more information help!?!? so this is wht i have so far: Do you think that major businesses would avoid putting there customers in dangers way, when they would make lots of money even by doing so? I don’t! For example, just look at are tobacco companies. Every year many people die from using there products. Yet they continue to sell and produce there products because there making millions from it. Did you know that your cosmetics and personal care products aren’t even regulated by the FDA before they are sold to you? The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health discovered that 884 out of the 2,983 chemicals available to be used in cosmetics alone have been reported as toxic substances to the government. If the FDA doesn’t start regulating these products then just think about it that’s millions of people everyday that are putting themselves in danger of serious harmful conditions. There are statistics and sceneries that prove that cosmetics are a danger to the pubic. And proof that the FDA dose not regulate cosmetics nor do they make very many efforts to warn you or the dangers. One of the main reasons the FDA should regulate personal care products is the FDA website directly quotes that: “Cosmetic products and ingredients are not subject to pre market approval authority, with exception of color additives. However, FDA may pursue enforcement action against violative products or against firms or individuals who violate the law.” The FDA also states that: “Cosmetic firms are responsible for sustaining the safety of their products and ingredients before marketing failure to adequately substantiate the safety of a cosmetic product or its ingredients prior to marketing causes the product to misbranded unless the following warning statement appears conspicuously on the principal display panel of the products label: warning –the safety of this product has not been determined.” Their for because the FDA dose not regulate cosmetics and other personal care products just by using the products you are putting yourself in danger of cancer, genetic damage, and other serious conditions. Cosmetics include: baby powder, bubble bath, toothpaste, deodorants, shaving cream, hair tonics, hairsprays, colognes, sun tan lotions, mouth washes, baby shampoo, hand lotions, shampoo, conditioner, hair dyes, moisturizing cream, and many other products. Americans think these products are safe. But this confidence is too unjustified. Our public wants and demands higher standards of protection. This protection has been established for drugs, medical devices, and food additives but not for cosmetics. The Cosmetic industries want people to believe that no effective regulation of cosmetics is necessary at state or federal level. The FDA doesn’t even do much, to protect or warn women when it comes to the danger of using femine hygiene products. Not only have that but the legislation prohibited states from taking action as well. Cosmetics are under-regulated and too often hazardous. Here are just a couple examples of people that found this out the hard way: A 59 year old woman almost died from a allergic reaction she had to hair dye. Another woman of age47 had her cornea destroyed by a mascara wand. A 6 year old girl and her mother used air product that resulted in second degree burns on her ears and neck! As result of using a inflammable hair treatmfgbfgytjjjyjyjtjhhnnnhjnjhjjjmmmmjkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk……..zzs very scarred. Other examples of injures that cosmetics can result in are: pain and tissue damage, sores, eye infection, cancer, blindness, eye problems such as; rash, redness, swelling, and inflammation. And the list goes on and on. For every one million cosmetics products purchased there are 200 more visits to a doctor to treat cosmetic-caused illnesses. A study for consumer product safety commission in 1987 found that in 1 year alone, cosmetic products result in 47,000 emergency room visits. Between 1985 and 1987 more then 150,000 cosmetic related injures occurred. One third of chemicals used in cosmetics are toxic. More then 125 ingredients that are in cosmetics are suspected to be the cause of cancer. 20 cosmetic ingredients may affect the nervous system; this includes headaches, drowsiness, and convulsions. Birth defects are suspected to be cause by another 20 cosmetic ingredients. The GAO concluded that: “cosmetics are being marketed in the united states which may pose a serious hazard to the public.” I believe that the cosmetic companies should be regulated by the FDA. To make The likeliness of a person becoming injured less. And reduce the number of visits to the emergency room because of cosmetic related injures. i need a 10 minute long speech for my speech and debate class and this isnt long enough i know i need to deosite all my statistics(which r in one paragraph right now) but i ineed more information....everywhere i look its the same old stuff so can someone please help me get a few more paragaphs and stuff so i can be
Why will BP not learn- 16 deaths/170+ injuries/4 incidents since 2005 at same refinery? On March 23, 2005, a fire and explosion occurred at BP's Texas City Refinery in Texas City, Texas, killing 15 workers and injuring more than 170 others. BP was charged with violating federal environment crime laws and has been subject to law suits from the victim's families. Later an $87 million fine was imposed by the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration, which claimed that BP had failed to implement safety improvements following the disaster. The Texas City Refinery is the second-largest oil refinery in the state and the third-largest in the United States. BP acquired the Texas City refinery as part of its merger with Amoco in 1998. It had an input capacity of 437,000 barrels per day (18,354,000 gallons or 69,477,448 litres) as of January 1, 2005. After the March explosion, other safety incidents occurred at the plant including three major safety incidents in 2005: On 28-July-2005, a hydrogen gas heat exchanger pipe on the Resid Hydrotreater Unit ruptured, causing a release of hydrogen that erupted into a large fireball. One person received minor injuries. The Chemical Safety Board found that a contractor had accidentally switched a carbon steel pipe elbow with a low alloy steel elbow during maintenance, causing a failure mode known as “High Temperature Hydrogen Attack” (HTHA). On August 10, 2005, there was an incident in a Gas-Oil Hydrotreater that resulted in a community order to shelter. This incident occurred when a hole developed in the bottom of a valve that handles high pressure gas and oil. On January 14, 2008, William Joseph Gracia, 56, a veteran BP operations supervisor, died following head injuries sustained as workers prepared to place in service a water filtration vessel at the refinery's ultracracker unit.
Does anyone know if this story is true? The other day I was talking to a stonemason and a roofer who were asked to do a job for a certain institution in New Hampshire. They were obliged to attend "ladder school," even though both have been working at the tops of high ladders for over 40 years. The gentleman for the OSHA (the Occupational Safety and Health Administration) cautioned them against mocking his transparent waste of their time: Under the new administration, he explained, his bureaucracy would be adopting a more enforcement-oriented approach to private business. So they rolled their eyes merely metaphorically and consented to give up a working day because the federal government had taken the right to credentialize ladder-climbing form Maine to Hawaii. My professor brought this story up in class and asked us to find out if it was true or not. It could have easily been fabricated, but I want to know if anyone has heard of an actual event that took place. If anyone can find anything, please put a link to it in the answer.
Are these the top ten bigoted actions of feminists? I find it amusing that most feminists deny the many, many acts of bigotry committed by mainstream political (MP) feminism as personified by the activities of organizations such as NOW and AAUW (as opposed to "arm-chair" feminism, which mostly believes in equal rights and well-meaning decency but will rarely stand up for men's rights when they are being trampled), so I thought I would compile a list of the top ten and see if Yahoo readers can expand on it. I will expand on each of these (with extensive documentation - which is a fair and reasonable demand by arm-chair feminists) in later posts, but first let's generate the list: (I list 5 here, and another 5 on my next post so that this post is not too long) 1) Divorce Law and Practice: It is well documented that men have little chance of equal, shared or predominant custody of children in nasty divorces. NOW has actively campaigned against EVERY state legislative bill to correct this (bills that would force judges to presume shared custody is best for the children unless there is substantive evidence otherwise). 2) Education: In the early '90s AAUW published statistically biased "research" that purported to show that girls were getting the raw end of the deal in public education. Ignoring the fact that no boys were included in their "studies", fundamental AAUW-inspired changes in K-12 education have led to clear and largely unchallenged evidence of boys getting the raw end of the deal in education. Despite that, AAUW continues to effectively campaign against any changes that would correct this. 3) Medical Research: Female specific medical research has outstripped male-specific research every year for the last 100 years. And the disparity grows. There are now 5 Offices of Women's Health in the federal government, and 6 more if Health Care Reform passes in its present form. There are ZERO Offices of Men's Health. Yet men die younger in EVERY major category of death. NOW and other feminist entities have successfully, over the years, continued to lobby for increasing this disparity AND preventing an Office of Men's Health. 4) Public Health: From prevention of sexual mutilation at birth (often called circumcision to make it sound "nicer", well over 99.99% of the victims are male), to prevention of occupational deaths (93% of these are male), to support networks for the homeless, those threatened in someway, and the mentally ill (female-specific support centers outnumber male-specific support centers by more than 100:1), to laws about medical insurance coverage, sexual violence and other violence prevention laws, men get the short end of the stick. NOW, more than any other entity, has been extremely effective at building this disparity. 5) Domestic Violence: While everyone knows that female domestic violence shelters outnumber male domestic violence shelters by more than 100:1, how many know that well over 50% of male complaints to police about domestic violence from their partner lead to the male's arrest (rather than the female perpetrator)? And then, of course, it is quite amazing and amusing to hear feminists say that (i) men are getting equal protection under the law and (ii) that the lower number of male legal complaints proves that most domestic violence is perpetrated by men. NOW and VAWA-related political entities have been VERY successful at preventing men’s shelters and spreading misandric, patently-false statistics in this area. OK--that is the first five. Five more will follow on my next post. Feel free to add to the list or criticize it. And, of course, I realize that MP feminist bigots will slam the above. I look forward to their best shots.
Are these the top five legal issues for U.S. MRAs? 1) Divorce Law and Practice: It is well documented that men have little chance of equal, shared or predominant custody of children in nasty divorces. There are now 5 Offices of Women's Health in the federal government, and 6 more on the way from Health Care Reform passes in its present form. There are ZERO Offices of Men's Health. Yet men die younger in EVERY major category of death. Dame A: I recommend that you do some homework. Prostate cancer kills as many men as breast cancer kills women. Prostate cancer afflicts men at a substantially higher rate than breast cancer afflicts women. And the compications of prostate cancer treatment (sterility, impotence, incontinence, bowel damage) are generally much worse than the complications of breast cancer treatment. Yet somehow, we spend MUCH more money on breast cancer research, screeening and treatment. Why, I wonder, is that?
Why don't MRAs back the ERA? Actually the ERA* is an excellent idea and MRAs should back it. (this is a repeat question) Why? Because it would render most of the legislative and budgetary successes of mainstream feminism unconstitutional. For some examples, the denial of comparable federal funds for men's health, denial of comparable funds for men's medical research, biased DV law, biased family law, biased K-12 education, the draft, biased occupational safety, biased support for the homeless, etc., ALL would be unconstitutional. The rollback of the mainstream feminist agenda would be breathtaking. And mainstream feminist organizations would be forced to spend all their assets trying, in vain, to rescue something from the wreckage. * - ERA = Equals Right Amendment (to the U.S. Constitution). Mainstream feminists view this as their Holy Grail - but it would roll back so many of their bigoted gains that it would have far more positive effects for men (and fair-minded women) than for mainstream feminists.
Which gender is more privileged today? Let's take a virtual stroll down the life of an individual today to try to answer that question: 1) Birth - boys can be sexually mutilated at the whim of their parents, girls are protected from this barbarism. 2) Childhood - boys are drugged (Ritalin) by the millions at a ratio of roughly 10:1 when compared to girls, merely for acting like boys. 3) School - boys are getting increasingly less education when compared to girls by virtue of changes implemented nationwide in response to the AAUW's dishonest report on the education of girls (around 1990). 4) College - nationwide the men/women ratio has grown to 2:3 as many young men are simply opting out of higher ed. 5) Work - occupational fatalities in the U.S. are roughly 17 men killed at work for every 1 women killed. 6) Health Care - we (U.S.) spend $2 on women's health care for every $1 on men's health care, though men die at higher rates from every major cause of death. 7) Medical Research - we (U.S.) spend $2 on women's medical research for every $1 on men's medical research, though men die at higher rates from every major cause of death. There are now 10 federal Offices of Women's Health, while there are ZERO federal Offices of Men's Health 8) Selective Service - men are still forced to sign up for the draft or face severe federal penalties. Women are under no such obligations whatsoever. 9) Retirement - though men live (statistically) shorter lives, as noted above, they pay the same rates for retirement "benefits" such as Social Security and Medicare, thereby getting substantially less than women per dollar invested (roughly a factor of 2). 10) Divorce and access to children - while everyone knows that men have little chance to gain custody of their children, many seem to be unaware that there are no "deadbeat mom" laws that should punish parents that deny their children access to non-custodial parenting (primarily dads). While it is, apparently, a wonderful thing to lock up men (mostly) for lack of child support payments, no penalties whatsoever seem to accrue to women (mostly) that deny their children access to dad. OK - that's a start. You are welcome to add to the list as you see fit, because it is SO HARD to figure out which gender is more privileged today.

Is the following excerpt about Canadian healthcare accurate? 'As a neighboring country, the U.S. health system is often compared to Canada’s. While the country’s system is not as highly rated as many in Europe, it still produces better results than the United States, according to research by the Commonwealth Fund and others. On the measure of average life expectancy, Canadians live 80.2 years compared to 77.8 years in the United States. Access to care is also not a problem. “Canada has a couple of things that clearly are better than the U.S.,” says Dr. Robert Ouellet, president of the Canadian Medical Association. “It has coverage for the entire population.” Contrary to popular understanding, Canada has a single-payer rather than a federal system. The government pays for all of the care from a single fund, but uses private doctors to administer care. Patients can choose where, and from whom, they get their care. Each province and territory has differences in their respective systems, but the national government oversees and regulates each. Canada publicly funds 70 percent of care through national income and employer and payroll taxes; the remaining 30 percent is covered privately through insurance companies. Health care spending is much lower than in the United States, having accounted for 9.9 percent of Canada’s GDP in 2004. The Canadian system covers services such as primary care, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Psychiatric services are covered, but services outside hospitals or community-based mental health clinics are usually not. Chiropractic services and alternative medicine are covered in some cases. Dental and vision care are not included and are covered through private insurance. Critics of the Canadian system cite long waits for care, including elective procedures such as knee replacements. Patients may, at worst, have to wait months to be seen. Those who disparage the system joke that Canadians “die in line waiting for care,” as Ouellet puts it. But if conditions worsen, or a patient needs immediate care, such as emergency room care, patients can be seen much sooner.' http://www.amsa.org/tnp/articles/article.cfx?id=471
What do you think of these reasons that we should NOT to vote for Ron Paul? 1. Ron Paul does not value equal rights for minorities. Ron Paul has sponsored legislation that would repeal affirmative action, keep the IRS from investigating private schools who may have used race as a factor in denying entrance, thus losing their tax exempt status, would limit the scope of Brown versus Board of Education, and would deny citizenship for those born in the US if their parents are not citizens. 2.Ron Paul would deny women control of their bodies and reproductive rights. Ron Paul makes it very clear that one of his aims is to repeal Roe v. Wade. He has also co sponsored 4 separate bills to “To provide that human life shall be deemed to exist from conception.” This, of course, goes against current medical and scientific information as well as our existing laws and precedents. 3. Ron Paul would be disastrous for the working class. He supports abolishing the Federal minimum wage, has twice introduced legislation to repeal OSHA, or the Occupational Safety and Health Act and would deal devastating blows to Social Security including repealing the act that makes it mandatory for employees of nonprofits, to make “coverage completely optional for both present and future workers”, and would “freeze benefit levels”. 4.Ron Paul’s tax plan is unfair to lower earners and would greatly benefit those with the highest incomes. He has repeatedly submitted amendments to the tax code that would get rid of the estate and gift taxes, tax all earners at 10%, disallow income tax credits to individuals who are not corporations, repeal the elderly tax credit, child care credit, earned income credit, and other common credits for working class citizens. 5. Ron Paul’s policies would cause irreparable damage to our already strained environment. Among other travesties he supports off shore drilling, building more oil refineries, mining on federal lands, no taxes on the production of fuel, and would stop conservation efforts that could be a “Federal obstacle” to building and maintaining refineries. He has also sought to amend the Clean Air Act, repeal the Soil and Water Conservation Act of 1977, and to amend the Federal Water Pollution Control Act. 6. A Ron Paul administration would continue to proliferate the negative image of the US among other nations. Ron Paul supports withdrawing the US from the UN, when that has not happened he has fought to at least have the US withdrawn from the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization. He has introduced legislation to keep the US from giving any funds to the UN. He also submitted that the US funds should not be used in any UN peacekeeping mission or any UN program at all. He has sponsored a bill calling for us to “terminate all participation by the United States in the United Nations, and to remove all privileges, exemptions, and immunities of the United Nations. 7. Ron Paul is opposed to the separation of church and state. A clear violation of the first amendment’s protection of freedom of religion. He is attempting to force his beliefs on the rest of America, exactly what he would do as president.

Help!
I wanted to quit, my manager said give it 3 months? I said I will give it two more months, as that will take it to six months of me being there (currently been there 4). At the appropriate time as regulated by the US congress and kept accurate by the national institute of standards and technology and the US naval observatory, I get into my national highway traffic safety administration approved automobile and set out to work on the roads build by the local, state, and federal departments of transportation, possibly stopping to purchase additional fuel of a quality level determined by the environmental protection agency. And just how did they human race manage to survive all those 100s of thousands of years without "big brother " ? Mainly in caves with a life expectancy of less than 30 years? And this isn't about a totalitarian "big brother". This is about an elected, representative government doing what it was elected to do -- you know, "promote the general welfare"

ERA = Equals Right Amendment (to the U.S. Constitution). Mainstream feminists view this as their Holy Grail - but it would roll back so many of their bigoted gains that it would have far more positive effects for men (and fair-minded women) than for mainstream feminists.

Can someone summarize the article below for me..First person to summarize it get best answer? Manhattan prosecutors are expected to announce manslaughter charges on Monday against the rigger who was overseeing the raising of a tower crane on the East Side last year when it collapsed, killing seven, according to people briefed on the case. The rigger, William Rapetti, has also been charged with criminally negligent homicide, reckless endangerment and second-degree assault in the spectacular disaster, in which the 22-story crane plunged across East 51st Street, piercing one building and tearing terraces off another, the people said. The accident, on March 15, played out across a two-block swath of the Turtle Bay neighborhood, leaving two dozen people injured and the streets strewn with rubble. The charges — including seven counts each of second-degree manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide — are contained in an indictment that is expected to be unsealed on Monday, the people said. Mr. Rapetti’s company, Rapetti Rigging Services, will also be charged, the people said. All spoke on the condition of anonymity because the charges remained sealed. Mr. Rapetti, 48, of Massapequa Park, N.Y., was set to surrender on Monday morning, said his lawyer, Arthur L. Aidala, who noted that five of the seven people who died were friends of his client’s, men working with him on the crane that day. Mr. Aidala said he was confident that Mr. Rapetti, an expert in the operation and rigging of tower cranes, would be cleared. “He did nothing wrong, and operated at that site in a way that is beyond reproach,” Mr. Aidala said. The indictment, the result of an investigation by the office of the Manhattan district attorney, Robert M. Morgenthau, represents the first criminal charges stemming directly from a spate of fatal accidents involving tower cranes last year. Alicia Maxey Greene, a spokeswoman for Mr. Morgenthau’s office, declined to comment on the case. The March 15 collapse, and a second fatal collapse two months later, led to the resignation of the city’s building commissioner and the arrests of its chief crane inspector, one of his subordinates and a crane company owner on corruption charges unrelated to the collapses — cases that resulted from the scrutiny following the accident. The second collapse, on East 91st Street on May 31, remains under investigation by the Rackets Bureau in Mr. Morgenthau’s office, the same group of prosecutors that is handling the case against Mr. Rapetti and that brought the corruption cases, one law enforcement official has said. The two accidents, coupled with a series of disclosures about missteps by city agencies and others in the fatal fire at the former Deutsche Bank building in 2007, exposed the deeply flawed operations of the Buildings Department. In particular, the crane collapses focused attention on the department’s troubled Cranes and Derricks Division, where a handful of inspectors, some lacking in experience, were overwhelmed by the workload brought on by the city’s building boom. The charges against Mr. Rapetti stem from what one person briefed on the case said were “reckless and negligent rigging practices,” which caused the failure of four nylon slings that were being used to hoist a huge square steel crane component to the top of the crane. The component, called a collar, was being moved to raise the crane higher to continue construction, a process known as jumping the crane. Mr. Rapetti also failed to follow the crane manufacturer’s specification that the collar be supported by eight slings, the person briefed on the case said. One sling had “substantial pre-existing damage, including cuts and severe dislocation” that would have been readily apparent to Mr. Rapetti had he inspected it before use, as the building code and federal regulations require, the person said. When the slings ripped and the collar broke free at the 18th floor, it plunged down the side of the crane, smashing into a second collar and shearing it from the building before landing on top of a third collar near the crane’s base, destabilizing the tower. The weight of the crane’s cab then pulled the tower down. In September, federal regulators accused Rapetti Rigging Services of failing to inspect the slings, remove a defective sling from service, protect the slings and comply with the crane manufacturer’s specifications when raising or lowering the crane. Those citations, by the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration, carried penalties totaling $220,000 and included three willful violations, the most severe issued by the agency. Mr. Rapetti had been cooperating with OSHA’s investigation, said his lawyer, Mr. Aidala, who added that Mr. Rapetti came from a family of crane operators and had worked on the machines since he was a youth. He noted that Mr. Rapetti worked at ground zero operating a giant crane from the day after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attack until late that year, a job he won because of his skill and experience.

No meetings to address any potentail problems at the Tire and Battery Center were brought up by the Team Lead or Management. As of Monday, 9 April 2007, the people of the Tire Shop are playing pranks and making it appear as if Max Rafael Waller is becoming forgetful such as the misplacement of tools and personal safety gear. The others are scared to tell the truth. Sam's Club 6625 Fidel Jacobo has POSSIBLY EVERYBODY at Sam's Club gathering information given out by Max Rafael Waller and will reward them by promotion and/or a payraise along with illegal surveillance that GROSSLY violates Global Ethics Compliance that Wal-Mart Stores, Inc claims to uphold. They will say they are understaff and this is baseless. Fidel Jacobo might be spreading misinformation through the tire shop boss, Bill Lang. Fidel Jacobo has received a lot of Anti-Union training Bill told Max if the associates do not follow rules let that be the problem of management. Bill Lang is a Team Lead and so he is required to enforce all rules even IF he disagrees. Los Angeles Times C2 Thursday, April 5, 2007 in the Business Section the title is Wal-Mart defend its monitoring If it is proven then it is a gross violoation of the Global Ethics that Wal Mart Stores, Inc agreed to comply when they signed it around 2003 Will Wal Mart Stores, Inc allow inspection of all internal complaints that have violated Global Ethics or stonewall like the White House and the Valerie Plame situation ? The secret for Wal-Mart not getting caught of Fear and intimidation is simple: a lot of unwritten rules so there is no evidence. A lot of non-managers associates will respond by saying they see or know nothing of improper treatment. They will also have selective memory. The Legal Division of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc is preparing countercharges and some will be Invasion of Privacy, Defamation of Character, Character Assassination, Destroying Reputation, Intent , Injurious to morale , etcetera, but the biggest will be that this site is ONLY generalizations and especially baseless with no legally verifiable facts. Will the Legal Division have legitimate countercharges ? Yes, but I chose no to type all them and have them ready for a lawyer for effective defense and so it is their problem to figure them out. Duress and Graymail may be part of the defense of Max Rafael Waller along with the usual Freedom of Exprssion afforded by the US Constitution Graymail can be used against US Federal Government and possibly local Law Enforcement. Will Wal-Mart succeed in having Max Rafael Waller discredited by a Psychological Evaluation thereby stigmatizing him as a man with grands delusions ? Is Samuel Robson Walton of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc part of this ? Ensuring that legal cases proving that the rules to ensure to easy terminate people are not made aware? INTIAL ATTEMPT TO DISCREDIT WITH A PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION A possible misdiagnosis and initial attempt to discredit through a Psychological Evaluation by Scott Wang MD from Providence Holy Cross Medical Center 15301 Rinaldi St Mission Hills CA 91345 Telephone: 1-818-365-8051 Dr Scott Wang's name could not be found at their website http://www.providence.org/losangeles/facilities/providence_holy_cross/default.htmand he is the one who possibly suggested a Psychiatric Evaluation so a result to Wal-Mart's desire could be used to start discrediting Max Rafael Waller An old white man with a Kaiser Permanente badge and from a Psychiatric Evaluation team from Kaiser never left a business card or a phone number for communication. He looked like an actor from Law and Order portraying a Psychiatrist and impersonation IS illegal and punishable by law. On Sunday, 1 April 2007 Dr Paul R Hladon Kaiser Permanente 13652 Cantara St Panorama City CA 91402 Telephone: 1-818-375-2377 Dr Paul R Hladon reluctantly gave Max two prescriptions: Azithromycin 250MG {Take two tablets daily for seven days} and Ciprofloxacin HCL 500MG{Take one tablet orally two times a day for fourteen days} Only two X-Rays and no blood test done, so how did Dr Hladon know what to prescribe ? He took the medicine and instructions as given. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The FBI are also exploiting fear and they have the BSU as their asset. Bill Lang has casually spoken about death and intimidation about how Max will get fired with one more coaching which comes from the FBI and Wal-Mart's Homeoffice in Bentonville Arkansas 72716. Possible causes Max Rafael Waller's fear of possibly dying. Around Wednesday, 21 March 2007 he dragged the rotting carcass of a dog so children would not touch it. It was in front on the Pepsi Bottling Plant in San Fernando California 91340 and its entrance is on Dronfield Ave. He MIGHT have breathed some Bacteria, Germs or other Biological Agents and maybe some Botulism. Also Desiccating{drying} Bacteria. Esther Topete was watering the front lawn at 11261 Sproule Ave, Pacoima California 91331 and was scared. Max picked up a headless Squirrel that had a foul stench and maggots and placed in the garbage bin. Psychiatric Evaluation(S) is a legal tool to discredit a critic so if they can find that a individual(s) has mental problems or unable to cope with life's problem the discrediting tactic will work. A stigma of mental problem is almost impossible to overcome. Being labeled with poor mental health has been used to successfully discredit a critic. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ACTIVITIES BY THE FBI Group Stalking will be denied resulting with the accusser(s) being prejudged or viewed as someone with Visual Hallucinations, additionally, Electromagnetic Harassment or Electromagnetic Pulses will be denied resulting with the accusser(s)being prejudged or viewed as someone with Auditory Hallucinations. Both can be used when someone is driving or walking but when someone is trying to sleep the Electromagnetic Harassment will be used to disrupt sleep and with lack of sleep people's behavior is altered significantly and people end up with the impressions that they cannot handle stress. Electromagnetic Harassment is used to break the will of people who dare to dissent. The FBI has a complete profile of Max Rafael Waller and two weak areas are Anger and Anxiety, so they will create a situation that will end with him having a Fatal Heart Attack and/or Fatal Stroke. The FBI will to DO Sleep Deprivation/disruption AGAINST MAX RAFAEL WALLER. The collaborators of US Law Enforcement are the neighbors around Sproule Ave and Pierce St area Will the FBI be creative and imaginative with this information along with the profile to discredit Max Rafael Waller ? The neighbors around the corner of Sproule Ave and Pierce St in Pacoima California 91331 are collaborating by playing a lot of bass on their speakers and technically their noise is considered Electro-Magnetic Pulses, EMP, since the speakers have magnets energized or powered by electricity. This is why it is vital for them to have people found to be mentally unstable by the legal use of Psychological Evaluation. The FBI will discredit Max Rafael Waller by ALL NECESSARY MEANS as they other Americans like a serial killer Biological and Psychological war along with Electronic from their world famous Behavioral Science Unit or BSU The FBI might HAVE an unofficial pact with Organized Crime and they have been intercepting phone calls and ended phone calls with the help of Time-Warner Cable US Law Enforcement have all of the Internet activities and had yet to find any evidence to charge someone of potentially being an Internet Predator and Pedophile. Sadly the owners of the house at 11261 Sproule Ave, Pacoima CA 91331 are family members and do NOT want to get involved. Su much for family unity. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Surveillance, Psychotronics and (Gang)Stalking Operations The Xiandos web site is http://xiandos.info/Surveillance,_Psychotronics_and_(Gang-)Stalking_Operations -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The FBI will cite National Security and not allow the reviews of any US Federal Black Operations.
