Do liberals have any idea how many jobs are lost due to OSHA regulations? Being the wealthy owner of a sweat shop that makes chocolate candies for the upper crust I have been forced to equip my machines with costly mechanisms to insure my workers safety. Many of these workers had their employment terminated by me because I could no longer afford to pay them because i had to be concerned with a healthy working environment. Now they are dying on the streets due to starvation.
Your OSHA safety regulations at work? I have to do an interview with somebody about their regulations standards at work set by OSHA. Can someone answer the following: What kind of work do you do? I don't need a link about jobs, I need someone to answer the questions above, it's an interview, I need it for school. Thankyou for anyone who answers.
OSHA Regulations. Who has to abide by them? I'm interning for a non-profit organization and I was asked to do a little research. They are expanding to involve a clinic/integrated wellness center. They will be doing acupuncture with the patients now. I know there are certain things you must be aware of like blood borne pathogens and hazardous materials. That's a given. But what I want to know if the wellness center will have to abide by OSHA regulations and/or another organization. If another organization then who? (Also, the wellness center is located in the New York area)

What are OSHA regulations regarding hot water in office building lavatories? What are OSHA regulations regarding hot water in office building lavatories? I work in a very nice office building. The lavs are quite modern with self-flushing toilets and automatic faucets & paper towel dispensers. The problem is that with the automatic faucets (i.e. the unit senses your hands beneath the spout and turns water on) water has to run for a long time before any warm/hot water is dispensed. I recently waited 6 minutes for hot water to finally make it from the spout (and personally, I don't have 6 minutes to wait for hot water each time I use the lav). I contacted our facilities department who said they investigated. The problem was not corrected. In our current climate of illness and disease, and with the significant concerns around flu viruses, I want to have hot water to wash my hands after I use the bathroom. Is this a violation of OSHA regulations?
Possible OSHA regulations? Are there any OSHA regulations for retail works working outside in the state of Virginia. I work in a garden center of a local hardware store and we are not allowed to have fans of any kind. The heat index here reaches up to and sometimes over 100 degrees daily. They give us a water cooler/fountain tat is usually empty because we drink all the water and it is 30 feet away so I can rarely get to it in between all the customers. So, are there any regulations regarding outside retail workers? Thanks for your time and help. When I first started they said there would be fans available for use but a co-worker fell over a heater cord in April and we are no longer allowed to have fans or heaters.

Is there any law or OSHA regulation that states how many hours an employee can work before they get a break? OSHA regulations and power safety...untrained employee assigned to do power work!? A said telecommunications company is performing not so good right now. So to cut back on cost and having trained contractors come in and do the work, some are being asked to perform power related tasks to equipment that have a ton of live current going through it. No one has been provided ANY training for this ...just a method of procedure and a screw driver. Can/Should I make a complaint to OSHA for this because I am really scared someone could get hurt if they incorrectly touch the wrong thing? I know this is a serious issue and I am for certain about the facts because that employee would be ME. I work alone and at night. NOT knowing anything about working with power and being asked to do this which by the way is outside of my job description is dangerous. One wrong move and obviously I wouldn't know what that would be until I did it and I could be injured and my body would be found the next morning. As far as favors go, I could careless because my life is more important to me than what any company has to offer. If the company gave a sh*t about my future, they wouldn't be asking me to do something like this anyway. The company won't be caring for my children if I am mamed or dead.
Does anyone know if there is an OSHA regulation regarding? weather or not a key can be removed from a forklift? weather or not keys can be removed from a forklift? Not worried someone will take it without authorization. MY husbands company is allowing certain people to remove the keys so that others cant use "THERE" forklift. They all share them but some people dont like to share. Someone thought there was a regulation that all operational trucks had to have keys
